Graduate Student, Philosophy
About
I am a first-year PhD student at NYU. My main research interests include formal epistemology and epistemic normativity. Before coming to NYU I undertook the BPhil at Oxford, where my thesis defended a form of epistemic consequentialism.
I'm currently undertaking research into the epistemic grounds of fanaticism problems, and am attempting to formulate a plausible solution to them. I am also interested in proper scoring rules and applying conditions from traditional epistemology to accuracy measures on credences.
My broader interests include the philosophy of science, philosophical logic, the philosophy of probability and consequentialist ethics.
