About

I'm interested in human and primate evolution, especially that occurring in the hominin line since the split from chimpanzees and other apes.

I'd like to use functional and comparative anatomy to better understand what is phylogenetically important, and to use knowledge of extant human and primate variation to better understand the fossil record. I'm also interested in the use of genetics to tease apart these relationships and the evolutionary history of humans.
