About
I am currently an Professor of Economics at New York University. I am interested in macroeconomics, labor economics, and monetary economics.
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. I have worked as a Lecturer (UK equivalent of Assistant Professor) in the Department of Economics at the London School of Economics, as an Assistant Professor of Economics at New York University, and as a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
I have taught courses in labor economics and monetary theory at Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia), University of Tokyo (Japan), and at Universidad DiTella (Argentina), which I visit regularly. I have also been a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, and St. Louis.
