Teach writing at NYU. Also freelance book doctor, writing coach, and editor, working with nonfiction authors on subjects ranging from psychology and cultural criticism to nonprofit management and games. Intended audiences for these nonfiction books can be the general reading public, scholars, or professionals.
Beyond that, my own academic interests have primarily to do with "third-wave" behavioral psychologies such as DBT, ACT, etc., cultural criticism of institutions and social policies favoring corporations over natural persons, and the craft of writing.
