About
Mauricio Delfin is an anthropologist, new media producer and researcher in cultural development. He founded and directed Realidad Visual (2001-2010), a cultural association concerned with the advancement of media art and the promotion of inclusive cultural policies in Peru.
As a social researcher he has conducted studies on cultural policies and human development, mental health, youth and political violence, children and ICTs, social ecology and global health. He has directed and produced various documentaries on issues like mental illness (Loco, 2001), political violence (Noqanchis, 2006: http://vimeo.com/5185200) and global health (Zona Cruda, 2009: http://vimeo.com/6812936).
